Hi, I’m Victoria Martinez Azaro, AKA La Creative Mama—natural dyer, eco printer, creative sewer, and fashion sustainability educator.

For years, I’ve had conversations with creative mamas who, like me, love using naturally dyed and eco-printed fabrics. But there was always a challenge: how to create a pattern that not only minimized fabric waste but also fit beautifully on any body shape.
As someone who is deeply passionate about sustainability in fashion, this was a puzzle I knew I had to solve.

Liz is a professional pattern maker who specializes in minimal waste pattern making.
She holds a degree in Pattern Making from The London College of Fashion, and we had the pleasure of working together as lecturers in fashion sustainability for many years.
Her expertise in creating patterns that are both sustainable and inclusive made her the perfect partner for this project.
Together, we set out to design a kimono inspired pattern that would do more than just look beautiful. We wanted a pattern that used fabric efficiently—no wasted pieces—and was easy to customize to any body shape.
After months of collaboration, we’re thrilled to introduce our Minimal Waste Sewing Course, where you’ll not only learn to sew your own stunning kimono inspired top but also how to approach sewing with sustainability in mind.
